Searchplicity meets by phone, video chat or in person with the client search team to establish a greater understanding of the need as well as the organization’s culture. Working closely with the client team to generate consensus on the exact specification for the position at the search outset, Searchplicity and the client identify the key success criteria for the position and continue to measure candidates against such criteria during the search.

During the initial research phase, the Partner-directed research and execution team begins identification of potential candidates using a variety of methods, including the creation of a target company list along with likely titles held by target candidates. Based on the criteria and specifications set in the launch meeting between Searchplicity and the client, potential candidates are identified using Searchplicity’s proprietary database, sourcing and referrals from more senior executives, as well as through subscription databases and networks. The research team maintains a candidate pipeline throughout the search life cycle.

During the candidate development process, Searchplicity prepares regular status reports, typically weekly; candidate biographies/resumes and assessment comments to confirm that the process is tracking as the client desires. At least 24 hours prior to interviews, Searchplicity generates and forwards to the client written candidate notes including details on each candidate’s compensation, background, assessment, and relevance to the specification. As candidates move through the process, the team works closely with the client to aid in candidate scheduling, coordinating timely candidate feedback, conducting thorough reference checks and assisting with offer and negotiations for the finalist candidates.
